John is the State Safety Officer of ABATE of California, the Safety Officer for ABATE local 6 in San Diego, an officer in District 38 of the American Motorcyclist Association, and a member of the advisory board to the California Motorcyclist Safety Program. He is also a member of southern California based riding clubs such as The Wanderers, the So-Cal Cruisers, the Red Hot Riders, and several others.
